Too low. I didn't drive one, but ehhh I wasn't feeling it. The guy was like "whatever inventory we have left is what we have". So, no tan interior, green, manual, means I can't put my heart into it. The guy at the dealer was super cool though, he suggested lifting it and tuning it as an MCM fan.

Saskatoon? We may have had the same salesman, from when I test drove that golf last year. He kept suggesting I tune and lower it.

Unless you’ re doing some serious crawling it’s fine. Then again a Subaru is probably a better choice now that the turbo Outback is back.

Yep, Saskatoon. The dealership moved and Google maps has it in the wrong spot.

I’m more onboard for the Outback. I blame the grids.

As much as I like our Golf Sportwagen, I wouldn't/don't want it as a long term car. VW scares me

Already is lifted a good bit compared to a standard sportwagen , but the front overhang is ridiculous on most modern VWs. They get bashed all the time on driveway ramps and parking blocks all in the name of aerodynamics.
Efficiency wise, these are great, though. 1.8 TSIs don’t seem to have a problem getting mid 30s MPG highway. The AWD system is plenty capable. Good handling as well.
Pretty sure I’ve seen green/tan Alltrak combos before, but you are looking for an oddly specific package and the manual transmission by itself is a rare option. But still glad that it is an option.
